Shadhinata Complex

The Shadhinata Complex or Mini Bangladesh Park has been built next to the Swadhin Bangla Betar Center located at Kalurghat in the port city of Chittagong . The park is decorated with all the traditional structures and entertainment facilities of Bangladesh. Jatiya Sangsad Bhawan, National Memorial, Supreme Court, Ahsan Manjil, Curzon Hall, Lalbagh Fort, etc., are built on the model of various spectacular buildings of Bangladesh, as if a part of Bangladesh has been brought before the eyes. Apart from fun rides, the culture of Chittagong is very artistically expressed in this park.

The Independence Complex or Mini Bangladesh Park is open for visitors seven days a week from 11 am to 9 pm. The price of the entrance ticket to the park is 150 rupees.

You can go to Kalurghat Mini Bangladesh Park by hiring a CNG or auto rickshaw from anywhere in Chittagong city. Depending on the location, the rent will be from 150 taka to 200 taka. And if you want to go by bus, you can take the Kalurghat-bound bus from anywhere in the city and get off directly in front of the park.

Dhaka to Chittagong

Chittagong can be reached from Dhaka by road, rail and air. From Dhaka Sayedabad Bus Terminal Saudia, Unique, TR Travels, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli, Sohag, S. AC-Non AC buses of various transports like Alam, Modern Line etc leave for Chittagong. Depending on the class, the bus fares range from Tk 650 to Tk 2000 per seat.

If you want to travel to Chittagong by train from Dhaka, you can travel by Tourist Express, Cox's Bazar Express, Sonar Bangla, Suborn Express, Turna-Nishitha, Mahanagar Prabhati/Godhuli, Chittagong Mail from Kamalapur or Airport Railway Station. Train fare will be 340 to 1398 taka depending on the class. Besides, several airlines operate direct flights from Dhaka to Chittagong.
