Modern Fantasy Kingdom

In 2011, Chairman of Modern Herbal Group Dr. Alamgir Moti established the Modern Fantasy Kingdom park with about 50 acres of land . Located in the picturesque surroundings of Kalukathi village of Naria upazila of Shariatpur district, Modern Fantasy Kingdom has all the modern entertainment facilities. There are different types of rides, mini zoo, speed boat, baby ride, super chair, train, water wheel, water ride, cable car, merry ground etc. The Modern Fantasy Kingdom also features a variety of fruit and medicinal plants, two playgrounds and a large pond.

Modern Fantasy Kingdom mini zoo has deer, leopard, crocodile, python, snake, monkey, peacock, porcupine, bear, turtle, ostrich, emu bird, kalim bird, rabbit, guinea pig, boxer duck and different species of fish. Apart from various entertainment activities, Modern Fantasy Kingdom has all the facilities to host any social event and banquet. There are closed circuit cameras and trained personnel throughout the park to ensure the safety of visiting guests.

Modern Fantasy Kingdom is open for visitors daily from 9 am to 6 pm.

From Dhaka's Syedabad Bus Terminal, Glory Express Limited, Padma Travels and Kirtinasha Express buses go directly to Naria via Padma Bridge. The rent will be 250-300 taka per person. Modern Fantasy Kingdom Park is only two kilometers away from Naria. Rickshaws or autorickshaws are available from Nadia to Modern Fantasy Kingdom. Apart from this, you can easily go to Modern Fantasy Kingdom from Sadarghat Launch Terminal by going to Jatrik, Safer and Sureshwar Launch and get down to Launch Ghat by hiring a rickshaw or auto rickshaw.

Shariatpur district has not developed a good residential hotel system. Khan Palace International, Sikdar Residential Hotel, Chandra Rest House are notable among the residential hotels located in Shariatpur district headquarters.

There are several fine dining hotels and restaurants in Naria. Food Heaven, Prijon Hotel, Luisa Raisa Fried Chicken, Prijon Restaurant and Mini Chinese are notable among them.
