Sureswar Darbar Sharif is located in Sureshwar village in Naria upazila of Shariatpur district. Hazrat Jan Sharif Shah Sureshwari (RA) was born in Sureshwar village of Padma Par district. Many devotees call Shah Sureshwari (RA) as “Janu Baba” and “Dayal Baba”.

Hazrat Jansharif Shah Sureshwari (RA) was a lover of music. Sureshwari (R.A.) specially uses music to establish love relationship with Allah and Rasool. According to him, 'Sura' gives rise to feelings and love. Every year numerous devotees and common people visit Sureshwar Darbar Sharif.
