Introduction to Komoldoho Waterfall Sitakunda

One of the well-known fountains of Sitakunda is the lotus trail fountains. It has become a popular place for travelers because of the fairly easy trail and the waterfalls of Kamaldaha Trail can be visited in a short time. Kamaldah Trail has many fountains. At the top of this trail, the path splits left and right. You will see small fountains and cascades ahead along the trail.

how to go

From where the bus departs, you first need to go to Bara Darogahat Bazar in Sitakunda Upazila of Chittagong District. From Dhaka you can take any bus to Chittagong. For this you will have to go down the steep road. Bus fare from Dhaka to Sitakunda is 800 taka depending on the standard.
If you want to go by train from Dhaka, you can also go by train (fare is Tk 265-909 depending on the standard). In this case it is best to go down to Feni. You can reach Bara Darogahat market by local bus from Feni station.
Sitakunda can also be reached by bus from Chittagong from Chittagong Alankar Mor. You can go by choice bus from Chittagong for Tk 80.
A brick opening can be seen further towards Dhaka from Bara Darogar Hat Bazaar. Crossing this brick opening and going a little further along the dirt road on the right, you will see the Jhiri path. This is basically the beginning of Kamaldahar Jhiri. Along this stream, the lotus fountain can be seen. Although many people call it cascade. Crossing this waterfall and going uphill, other waterfalls on the trail can be seen. If you want to see all the fountains, then enter through the open brick and pass through Phatikchari-Bariyadhala route and exit at Bara Darogarhat through Narayan Ashram.

Kamaldaha Trail

After climbing over Kamaldah Jharna and crossing a small cascade, if you go a little further on the Jhiri Path, you will see that the Jhiri Path is divided into two parts and goes to the right and left. First proceed along the jhiri path on the left hand side. If you follow this trail a little further you will find another trail on the right hand side (don't take this one yet). A little further along the straight path you will see Chagalkanda Jharna (if you want to go up to it, find the way up the side hill). While returning after seeing Chagalkanda Jharna, I was talking about the Jhiri on the right hand side, now proceed along this Jhiripath.
Ahead you will find a cascade, go past the cascade very carefully and climb up the cascade. Again you will find two streams ahead and at the end of the two streams there are two beautiful springs. From there return to Kamaldah Jharna where the trail first bifurcated.
Now you will find a fountain ahead of Jhiri path. Go up the mountain road next to this waterfall and you will find the waterfall, a little further you will find another cascade. A little further up the cascade you will see a small waterfall. Instead of stopping here, if you go up the rocks of the small spring, you will feel like you are in a dark tunnel. Do not give up and after 2 minutes walk you will see the stone broken fountain.
After crossing the cascade after the small waterfall you will see a small road going up the hill on the left hand side after backing up from the stone broken fountain. (Remember when you went to see Patharbhanga Jharna, the mountain road was on the right hand side)
Up the hill you will see that the road has split again. Then proceed on the road that goes to the top of the hill. If you go a little further, you will come to a relatively big road with three junctions. Then proceed along the road on the right hand side. A little ahead you will see a neat spring.
If you go ahead, you will find a paved road. You can come straight to Baradarogarhat station through Nayan Ashram, Forest Office through this paved road.
