Rubber Garden Parshuram Feni

Parashuram Rubber Garden has been developed by private initiative in Jayanti Nagar village bordering Mirzanagar Union of Parashuram Upazila of Feni District. In 2010, Haji Md. Mustafa established this plantation by planting 8,000 rubber trees over an area of ​​about 25 acres. After a long 8 years of care, in 2018, the first saplings started climbing from this rubber garden.

Earthen bowls are placed under the cuttings 70-75 cm above the base of the rubber tree to collect the pulp. It takes seven days to collect the pulp from the rubber plantation and turn it into dry rubber sheets. At the end of this process, the water is removed from the cloth with the help of a roller machine, dried in a dripping shed and burnt in a flue. Generally, rubber trees are harvested continuously for 30-32 years. A large number of visitors come to Pashuram Rubber Garden every day to see rows of these rubber trees and rubber processing.

You can go to Feni by Shyamoli, Unique, Sohag, Green Line, S Alam, Kaya and Saudia buses from Dhaka. Besides, Feni can be reached by Mahanagar Godhuli, Turna Express train from Kamalapur railway station. From Feni district you can go to rubber garden via Parashuram upazila by local vehicles like CNG, easy bike.

Hotel Bilas, Hotel Al Karim, Hotel Ghazi and Hotel Midnight are among the notable residential hotels in Feni district.

Parashuram upazila has light tea and snack shops. Apart from this, there are many Bengali restaurants in Feni town. Among the popular dishes of Feni are rice semai, buffalo milk ghee, various sweets made from sesame seeds and khandal sweets.

Feni district has notable sights like Rajaji Dighi , Shamser Gazi Bamboo Fort , Shamser Gazi Dighi, Pratappur Zamindar Bari and Abdus Salam Memorial Museum.
