Narail Badha Ghat

The traditional Narail Badha Ghat is located on the banks of the Chitra River, 3 km from the city of Narail , adjacent to Victoria College. Another ghat has been constructed in the same pattern on the banks of river Ganges in India. The zamindar of Narail built this embankment for navigation and enjoying the natural beauty of the river bank. It is known as Rajbari Ghat to the locals.

The main attraction of the ramparts is the canopies built on Doric columns in the Greek style of architecture. Next to the ghat is the landlord's residence. At present, the local residents of the district come to visit Bandha Ghat to spend their afternoon leisure time.

Narail district can be reached by bus from Dhaka via Padma bridge. From Dhaka's Gabtali, Sayedabad, Nabinagar and Mohakhali bus terminals to Narail by Desh Travels, Saint Martin Paribahan, Tungipara Express, Sohag Paribahan, Eagle Paribahan, Hanif Enterprise and AK Travels, the fare will be Tk 550-1200 per person. After reaching the town of Narail district, you can go to Banda Ghat by local vehicles.

Dolphin, Samrat, Mordan, Arunima Resort and Chitra Resort are notable among the residential hotels for overnight stay in Narail.

There are good hotels and restaurants in Zero Point and Lohagara in Narail city.

Other places to visit in Narail include Sapnapeethi Picnic Spot, Chitra Resort, SM Sultan's Bari, Niribili Picnic Spot and Arunima Eco Park.
