Meherun Children Park Chuadanga

Meherun Children Park and Mini Zoo (Meherun Children Park and Mini Zoo) has been built on a 60 bigha area in Ibrahimpur village of Damurhada Upazila of Chuadanga with the funding of KR Malik Foundation . Located at a distance of about 15 km from Chuadanga town, this park is becoming one of the entertainment spots for local people, as a result of which the number of visitors looking for entertainment in Meherun Shishu Park is increasing every day.

Mehrun Children's Park and Mini Zoo has various interesting rides, horse carriages, aesthetic sculptures, restaurants, resorts and weaving villages. Various species of animals including peacocks, monkeys, deer, camels, owls are kept in the mini zoo for the visitors.

The entrance fee of Meherun Shishu Park and Mini Zoo is Tk 50 per person. It takes 30-50 taka to ride different rides in the park. Besides, parking fee is applicable for vehicles entering the park.

From any part of the country, one can reach Meherun Shishu Park located in Ibrahimpur village by taking an auto-rickshaw at the Valaipur junction of the Chuadanga-Meherpur highway.

Dhaka to Chuadanga : The distance from the capital Dhaka to Chuadanga via Padma bridge is 232 km. Chuadanga district is accessible by bus and train from Dhaka. From Gabtali and Syedabad Bus Terminals, Manbede Bus to Chuadanga District via Padma Bridge costs Tk 650-1000 per person. Notable bus services include Tourist Transport (01719-813004), Sky Line, Pabna Express (02-9008581) and Chuadanga Express.

From Kamalapur railway station, Chitra, Sundarban Express and Benapole Express trains cross Yamuna Bridge and travel towards Chuadanga. Dhaka to Chuadanga train ticket price per person is Tk 465 to Tk 1,593 depending on the class.

Overnight stay in Chuadanga district town at standard residential hotel. One night stay in these hotels will cost 100 to 500 taka. Notable residential hotels include – Hotel Aqash (0761-62288), Hotel Al Meraj (0761-62383), Anturaj Residential Hotel (0761-62702), Hotel Prince (0761-62378).
