Introduction to Lalghat Waterfall Sunamganj

Lalghat Waterfall is located near India-Bangladesh Zero Point near Tahirpur Upazila, 35 km away from Sunamganj district headquarters . The stream of clear water of this spring near the Lalghat tribal village, cuts down the chest of the Meghalaya mountains in India at a constant speed. The flow of water from Lalghat Jharna joins the fresh water of Sansara Haor in a meandering pattern towards the west of Lalghat village.
To the east of Jharnadhara, a tribal village called Sabujer Gram has been built with small families of the Hajong community. Although Lalghat is a tribal village, there are about one and a half hundred local Bengali families. Around the village settlement there are mountain forests, fruit trees and various types of flowers.
