Introduction to Komlok Jhorna Sajek

To see Komlok Waterfalls, one needs to trek for 2/2 and a half hours from Ruilui village in Sajek Valley. After watching the clouds playing hide and seek with the mountains of Sajek Valley, if you want to get more thrill, visit the Kamalak Jharna. But for this it is better to stay at least one day in Sajek Valley. The local name of Kamalak Jharna is Pidam Taisa Jharna or Sikkam Taisa. You may get confused while walking along the beautiful waterfall or the waterfall may be closed somewhere due to heavy rains, so if you are visiting the waterfall for the first time, you must take a guide with you.
During the monsoon season the trail is very slippery and sometimes you have to climb and descend steep hills so always be careful. And try to avoid local people when choosing a guide. They usually agree if you pay some money, but not all of them are trustworthy. You can talk to your resort authority for guidance to avoid getting into unwanted complications.
