Introduction to Jessore Collectorate Park

Jessore Collectorate building square located in the district headquarters of Jessore is more popular as one of the entertainment centers of the city. Jessore Collectorate Park, which was earlier known as Niaz Park, has been built on the banks of the Bhairav ​​River next to the Collectorate Building. This Niaz Park is a silent witness of various movements and struggles of the glorious past.
Next to Collectorate Park is Flower Park. Along with various wild flowers, there is a pond inside the park covering an area of ​​three bighas. Various species of colorful flowers like marigolds, chrysanthemums, dahlias, sunflowers, bluestars, roses, cosmos, zinnias, brick-paved paths, sitting benches and free Wi-Fi facility add a new dimension to the entertainment of visitors to the park.

Dhaka to Jessore by Bus : Several AC/Non-AC buses of Sohag, Hanif, SP Golden Line, MR Enterprises, Desh Travels, AK Travels, Green Line, Shyamoli and Eagle Transport operate from Kalyanpur, Gabtali and Kalabagan in Dhaka. Non-AC bus fare to Jessore is Tk 550-750 and AC bus fare is Tk 750-1300.
Dhaka to Jessore by Train : Intercity Sundarban Express train departs from Dhaka's Kamalapur Railway Station at 8:15 AM on 6 days of the week except Wednesdays to Jessore and another intercity train named Chitra Express departs to Jessore on 6 days of the week except Sundays at 7:30 PM and Benapole. Express departs for Jessore at 11:45 PM on 6 days of the week except Wednesday. Class wise train ticket price is Tk 560-1,927.
Bangladesh Biman, US-Bangla Airlines and NovoAir regularly operate Dhaka-Jesore route from the domestic terminal of Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport.
