There are numerous bus counters from Dhaka to Rangamati at Fakirapool Mor, Abdullahpur and Saidabad in Dhaka. These buses usually leave Dhaka for Rangamati between 8am to 9am and 8.30pm to 11pm. Between Dhaka to Rangamati AC bus, Saint Martin Hyundai Robi Express, Hanif Enterprise and Shyamoli bus fare is Tk 1200-1800. Besides, the fare of all non-AC buses is between Tk 850 and Tk 900.

From Chittagong various local and gatelock/direct buses to Rangamati are available from Oxygen junction of Chittagong city. Should take gatelock or direct bus even though the fare is a bit high. You can get direct bus from Chittagong to Rangamati within Tk 150. You can also get a bus to Rangamati from Chittagong's Bahaddarhat bus terminal.

Aranyak will show you the way to the holiday resort if you get off the bus at Rangamati Cantonment and ask anyone. It takes 10-15 minutes to reach the resort on foot from the main road. Besides, if you wait a little on the main road, you can hire auto and CNG to go to the resort.

Aranyak Resort has a restaurant to eat. You can eat there. If you want to eat, you have to order in advance. Besides, there are no good quality hotels around Aranyak Resort. But if you want to eat in a standard hotel, you have to adapt. Besides, if possible, you can go to Banrupa market which is only 3 km away and have lunch.
