Introduction to Upside Down Dhaka

You can visit the Upside Down Gallery located in Lalmatia of the capital Dhaka to give a new dimension to the picture outside of the traditional frame. As soon as you enter each room of the gallery, you will feel like you have entered a different realm. With miraculous power you are floating in the void or all the furniture in your room is floating and stuck on the roof of the house.
Although there are such 'illusionary art galleries' in different countries of the world, Upside Down Gallery was inaugurated for the first time in Bangladesh on 17th May 2019. Established by four young entrepreneurs, this gallery has already become known as 'Ulto Bari' to many.
The seven rooms on the ground floor of the Upside Down House with an area of about 3,000 square feet are arranged as bedrooms, drawing rooms, dining rooms, reading rooms, tantric rooms, shower rooms and kitchens. And the furniture in each room is connected to the ceiling of the room, which gives each room a different dimension. Guides are arranged to provide room introductions and photography instructions to incoming visitors.
If the pictures taken here in a particular pose are turned upside down, one is bound to get confused. The use of varied colors, beautiful furniture, dazzling lighting and creative presentation have made the Upside Down Gallery popular with visitors in no time.
