AC/Non-AC buses of Sylhet-bound Green Line, Saudia, S Alam, Shyamli, Unique, Hanif and Ena Paribahan ply from Dhaka to Sylhet
from Dhaka's Fakirapool, Gabtali, Sayedabad and Mohakhali bus terminals. AC bus ticket price is 1400 to 1500 taka per person depending on the standard. And non-AC bus fare is 680 to 700 taka. Buses to Sylhet are available at all times in the morning, afternoon and night. The distance from Dhaka to Sylhet is 235 km, it takes 6-7 hours to reach Sylhet.

Chittagong to Sylhet
Chittagong to Sylhet Green Line, Ena, Saudia and many other buses go to Sylhet. AC and non AC bus fare is Tk 900-1600. You can also go to Sylhet from Chittagong by train, two trains named Paharika and Udayan Express run 6 days a week. The train fare is Tk 450 to Tk 1541 according to the class.
From Sylhet to Jaflong
Jaflong can be reached by almost all types of vehicles from Sylhet. To go by local bus you have to go to Shivganj city from there the fare is 80 taka per person. You can go to Jaflong by CNG or autorickshaw for 1200 to 2000 taka. If you reserve the microbus to and fro, you will need 3000 to 5000 taka for the whole day. Jaflong can be done from any autorickshaw or CNG stand in Sylhet city. If you go in a group, it is better to reserve a microbus, then you can get down and explore other places around. Before fixing the car, bargain well and discuss with the driver what you want to see.
From Jaflong to Sangrampunji Jharna
From Jaflong zero point to Mayavi Jharna you have to take a boat across the river and walk for 10 minutes. During the monsoon season, you can go very close to the waterfall by boat. It will take 10-20 taka per person to cross the river by boat in winter. To go to the fountain in monsoons, the boat rental will be Tk 30-50 per person.
