Noborotno Mondir

Navratna Mandir (Noborotno Mondir) is a medieval archaeological site located in Hatikumrul village of Sirajganj. In 1664, Nayeb Dewan Ramanath Bhaduri built the Navaratna temple on the model of Kantji's temple in Dinajpur. Near the Navratna temple there is a Shiva temple of craftsmanship and a Chandi temple of worship. The temple is known as Navaratna temple for its 9 pinnacles carved with terracotta designs of foliage, fruits and deities. The 15.4 meter square temple is surrounded by itsuriki masonry walls. The temple, rich in medieval art, has an entrance on the east side, and a staircase on the north side of the Kuthuri. Above the central worship hall of the Navratna temple is another room with a balcony. Besides, there are many stories surrounding the pond located next to the Navratna temple.

You can take any bus from Dhaka to Bogra and get off at Hatikumrul and visit the Navratna temple which is 1 km away. AC/Non-AC buses of TR Travels, SR Travels, Hanif Enterprises, Shyamoli Paribahan, Shah Sultan Paribahan and BRTC ply to Bogra from Kalyanpur and Gabtali bus terminals in Dhaka for Tk 550 to Tk 1300.

Or take a bus across the Bangabandhu Bridge and get off at the intersection of the West Link Road and come to Sirajganj Road and ride a rickshaw or van for 2 kilometers to Hatikumrul. Navaratna temple is just 1 km from Hatikumrul village.
