Nil Digant Tourist Center is located in Jiban Nagar area of ​​Thanchi Upazila, 50 km from Bandarban District . The unearthly joy of touching the clouds can be enjoyed from the tourist center built on the hilltop with an area of ​​about 3 and a half acres. The play of white clouds with rows of green hills makes the blue horizon enchanting.

Neel Diganta Tourist Center is located at a distance of only 5 km from the Nilgiris. Entering through the scenic entrance you will find the view point, the auditorium and the canteen one by one. From the view point, you can see Mount Kaewkradong and Tajingdong. Apart from the clouds and the dazzling greenery, the lifestyle of the local hill tribes here is equally eye-catching.

To go to Blue Horizon wherever you are, you have to come to Bandarban first. Dhaka to S. Alam, Saudia, St Martin Transport, Unique, Hanif, Shyamli, Dolphin etc. buses ply to Bandarban regularly. It takes 8 to 10 hours to travel from Dhaka to Bandarban. Bandarban-bound non-AC bus fare is Tk 800-900 and AC bus fare is Tk 1200-1800 per person depending on the standard.

If you want to go by train from Dhaka, you have to go to Chittagong first and then go to Bandarban. Tourist Express, Cox's Bazar Express, Sonar Bangla, Subarna Express, Turna Nishita, Mahanagar Godhuli trains are traveling to Chittagong. The price of the train ticket varies from Tk 405 to Tk 1398. Or you can directly come to Chittagong from Dhaka by air.

Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses depart from Baddarhat in Chittagong city for Bandarban at a fare of Tk 220 per person. From Dhampara bus stand in Chittagong, you can go to Bandarban for Tk 200 to Tk 300.

Bandarban to Neel Digant Bandarban to Neel Digant can be taken by Jeep/Chander car/Mahendra/CNG or local bus. It is best to take a reserve vehicle. In this you can easily explore some other places nearby. Round trip vehicles are available from Bandarban jeep station for 3000 to 5000 rupees. Chander cars can usually seat 12-14 people, Landcruiser type jeeps can seat 7 to 8 people, and small jeeps can seat 4-5 people.

Nilgiris, Milanchari View Point, Shail Prapat Jharna, Sairu Hill Resort and Chimbuk Tourist Center are to be passed on the way to Nil Digant. You can spend some time in all the spots with a reserve car.

Most of the tourists visit places like Blue Horizon, Nilgiris etc. and return to Bandarban on the same day. There is no arrangement to stay at Nil Digant Tourist Center. There are several hotels, resorts and cottages in and around Bandarban city. Hotels and resorts to stay in Bandarban include:

Hotel Hilton: You will get a room for 800 to 3000 taka in this hotel adjacent to the bus stand of Bandarban city. Hotel Hill View : Next to Bandarban city bus stand. Rent 800 to 2500 taka. Tourist Motel: This motel is located 4 km from Bandarban city, next to the hills and lake in Meghalaya. Room rent here will be 1200 to 2500 taka. Hotel Plaza: 5 minutes walk from bus stand. Rent 600 to 3000 taka. River View: The location of the hotel is on the banks of Sangu River in the city. Rent 600 to 2000 taka. Sairu Hill Resort: A state-of-the-art resort at Chimbuk Hills, 18 km from Bandarban. Rent 8,000 – 25,000 Tk.

It is good to remember that the hotel fare depends on the time you are traveling to Bandarban. The travel season here is from December to February. Due to the high number of tourists during the season and public holidays, the fare may be lower and higher. If you travel then it is better to book the hotel room in advance. 20-50% discount is usually available in offseason. There are also numerous resorts, hotels, motels and resthouses where you can easily stay overnight for 500 to 3000 taka.

Accommodation is available in Army controlled cottages in the Nilgiris. Room rent for staying in this cottage will be 4,000 to 10,000 taka. If you want to stay at Nilgiri Resort, you have to book in advance and for booking you will need a reference from a known officer at the level of an army officer. As this resort is attractive to everyone, rooms are usually not available unless booked months in advance.

Nil Digant has a canteen, if you are hungry you can eat from there. Or you can come back to Bandarban city and eat. It is better to take some dry food with you while going.
