Naodanga Jomidar Bari

Naodanga Jomidar Bari is a traditional ancient structure. The location of Naodanga Zamindar house is about 8 km from Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram District. Even before the establishment of undivided India, the then zamindar Bahadur Pramdaranjan Bakshi of Naodanga Pargana built the house. The successor of the next zamindari, Bireshwar Prasad Bakshi, established a minor school and primary school in the Naodanga zamindar house, which are now known as Naodanga Primary School and Naodanga School and College. Vireshwar Prasad Bakshi started the Dol Mela in front of Naodanga Zamindar's house every Dolpurnima on the auspicious birthday of Lord Krishna which is still going on today.

Buses of SB, Nabil, Shyamoli, Hanif and Kurigram Transport ( 01924-469437 , 01914-856826 ) leave directly for Kurigram from Shyamli or Kalyanpur in the capital Dhaka. Coming from Kurigram to Fulbari Upazila Sadar, you can easily visit Naodanga Zamindar's house, which is 8 km away from there.
