Madhabpur Lake

Madhabpur Lake (Madhabpur Lake) or the lake is located in Madhabpur Union of Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar District. The distance of Madhavpur Lake from Kamalganj Upazila headquarters is 5 km. This lake was created in 1965 by damming the tea garden hills. About 50 acres of Madhavpur Lake is 3 km long and 50 to 300 meters wide at certain places.

Madhavpur Lake is surrounded by small hills and hills. And there is a beautiful tea garden on the hill. After that you can go to Madhavpur Lake via Bhanugach Chaumohana in Kamalganj by private car, bus or CNG. Besides, one can also go to Madhavpur Lake by renting CNG from Srimangal Tea Garden.

Dhaka to Srimangal There are buses of different transport companies like Hanif Paribahan, Sohag Paribahan, TR Travels, Shyamoli Paribahan etc. from the capital Dhaka to Sylhet via Srimangal. AC/Non-AC buses will cost 570-700 and if you want to go to Sylhet from Dhaka by rail, you can come to Srimangal by Parabat Express, Kalini Express, Jayantika Express or Upaban Express train. The price of the train ticket will be Tk 275-627 depending on the seat. If you want to travel by air, you can come to Sylhet from Dhaka and go to Srimangal by road.
