Inani Sea Beach

Inani Sea Beach is 23 km from Cox's Bazar and 14 km from Himchari . St. Martin's coral rocks can be seen at Inani beach during low tide. Here the sea is not so rough like Cox's Bazar and this calm sea attracts the tourists more. Usually afternoon is the ideal time to visit Inani beach. There are fewer tourists in the afternoon and you may regret missing out on the beautiful sunset later. Besides, while going to Inani Beach via Marine Drive Road towards Teknaf, seeing Himchhari Hills , Seaside Sampans, rows of Coconut and Jauban trees and surrounding landscape will relieve all the tiredness of your journey and make your mind happy.

First you have to come to Cox's Bazar from Dhaka. There are various types of AC-Non AC bus services to come to Cox's Bazar. Among them, S.Alam's Mercedes Benz, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamali Paribahan, Sohag Paribahan, S.Alam Paribahan, St. Martin Hyundai etc. are notable among them. The bus fare ranges from Tk 900 to Tk 2500 per person. Besides, you can go to Cox's Bazar directly from Dhaka by Cox's Bazar Express or Tourist Express train. And if there is no tension with the budget, you can choose the air route to go to Cox's Bazar. In this case you will need Rs 4600 to 12,000 depending on the time and flight class.

Open jeeps are always available from Cox's Bazar beach to Inani beach. If you go to reserve, it takes more money, subject to negotiation, you can go from 1500 to 2000 taka. A jeep can seat 12 to 15 people easily. Going to and from Inani beach by autorickshaw/easybike will cost Tk 500 to Tk 800 depending on the season. Besides, you can go to Inani Sea Beach by local CNG for 80 taka per person.

There are some hotels and resorts around Inani Beach. Among them are Royal Five Star Tulip Sea Pearl Resort , Inani Royal Resort, La Bella Resort. But staying in Cox's Bazar is most convenient as it is close to Cox's Bazar and has many hotels. Generally, Cox's Bazar hotels/motels/resorts can be divided into three categories based on price.

6000 to 10,000 Tk: Mermaid Beach Resort, Simon Beach Resort, Ocean Paradise, Long Beach, Cox Today, Heritage etc. Rs 3,000 to Rs 6,000: Sea Palace, Sea Gull, Coral Reef, Nitol Resort, Islandia, Beach View, Sea Crown, Uni Resort etc. 800 to 3,000 Tk: Urmi Guest House, Coral Reef, Ikra Beach Resort, Abhisar, Media Inn, Kallol, Honeymoon Resort, St. Martin Resort, Neelima Resort etc.

However, hotels are available for less than the price mentioned above, in that case, you have to inquire in advance. Hotel rates are usually less than half off in the offseason. If you have time, it is better to go down to Cox's Bazar and find a hotel. If you want to stay in a hotel or resort at a low price, you can look for hotels in the opposite lane in front of Long Beach Hotel, a little away from Kalatali Beach. The further away the hotel is from the beach and main road, the cheaper the accommodation. The advice of rickshaw pullers or CNG walkers should not be taken in finding a hotel. If you want to travel with your family a little more comfortably, you can rent a flat. AC/Non AC 2/3/4 bed room and kitchen flats can be rented from Tk 2,000 to Tk 15,000 per day. Also, you may have to do a bit of searching to get an address that you can afford and like.

You can easily visit Inani Beach in 5-6 hours, so if you want, you can carry light dry food or eat back to Cox's Bazar. Cox's Bazar has a variety of quality restaurants for dining. Mid-range restaurants include Rodela, Jhowban, Dhansindi, Paushi, Niribili etc.
