Horticulture Heritage Park

Horticulture Heritage Park (Horticulture Heritage Park) is well-known as one of the city's entertainment centers in a beautiful environment surrounded by green surroundings built under the supervision of Khagrachari hill district council, 3 km from the zero point of Khagrachari district , the city of hilly beauty. Spread across nearly 22 acres of park cottages and gates, the colorful design of each establishment attracts visitors.

Horticulture Heritage Park has beautiful hanging bridge, swimming pool, artificial heart, swings, toy train, kids zone, boat riding, horse riding and flower garden surrounded by various species of plants with seating arrangement. Besides, there are picnic spots, guest houses, bird's park and observation tower and open stage for organizing cultural events. Shops of various handicrafts made by the hill tribes have been built on the banks of the park's lake. Many entertainment lovers flock here to spend time with family or friends on holidays.

Admission Fees and Timings : Horticulture Heritage Park is open daily from 10 am to 6.30 pm. The entrance fee to the park is Tk 30 per person.

Various buses of Saint Martin Hyundai, Shanti, Shyamoli, Hanif, Econo, Relax and Eagle Paribahan ply to Khagrachari from Gabtali, Syedabad, Uttara and Arambagh in Dhaka. After reaching Khagrachari town, you can take a rickshaw to the Horticulture Heritage Park. Again, from Chittagong City's Oxygen Junction, you can take Shanti or Khagrachari-bound bus directly in front of the Horticulture Park.

Khagrachari has good quality residential hotels and resorts like Tourism Motel, Hotel Eco Chari Inn, Shail Suborn, Hotel Hill Touch, Hotel Mount Inn, Hotel Noor, Gangchil Abashik and Aranya Vilas.

A variety of traditional food is available at the food zone inside the Horticulture Heritage Park. Apart from this, there are some food restaurants in Shapla Chatwar, Bus Stand and Panthai Para of Khagrachari. Khagrachari System Restaurant, Peda Ting Ting, Gang Sabarang, Pajan and Chimbal restaurants are very popular. If you have the chance, don't forget to taste the traditional hill food of Khagrachari, including the popular Duck Kalavuna, Bashkurul.

Adjacent to the Horticulture Park is the Aparajita Buddhist Vihara. Apart from this, among other sightseeing places of Khagrachari, Risang Jharna, Alutila Cave, Hatimatha and New Zealand Para are notable.
