Greenland Park Habiganj

Greenland Park is a popular family entertainment center located in Ranigaon Union of Chunarughat Upazila of Habiganj District. This privately owned park has all the facilities for organizing a picnic, besides a bamboo swing, round square, lake, and an aesthetic restaurant. You can go boating and sailing in the waters of Greenland Park's lake.

Surrounded by numerous trees, this park has a collection of different species of birds along with information about several endangered plants. Since Greenland Park has its own security system, there is no chance to worry about visiting the park with the family. Besides, there is no restriction on entering the park with food from outside for picnic or sightseeing. And picnic food can be arranged by talking to the park authorities. Entrance ticket to Greenland Park is Tk 20 per person.

If you want to go to Greenland Park from Dhaka, take any transport bus like London, Hanif, Green Line, Ena, Shyamoli, Mithali, Mamun, Modern, Al Mubaraka, Agradoot, Digant and Bismillah etc. and get down at Shaistaganj Muktijoddha Chatwar and from there take a bus or CNG which is 12 km away. Chunarughat must come. You can go to Greenland Park in Ranigaon by local transport from Chunarughat.

AC and non-AC bus ticket price from Dhaka to Shaistaganj ranges from Tk 430 to Tk 800 per person. Bus fare may vary depending on the time.

From Dhaka's Kamalapur or Airport Station, take Parabat, Jayantika, Kalni Express or Upaban Express train and get down at Shaistaganj Railway Station. You can go to Chunarughat by bus or CNG from Shaistaganj railway station. The price of train ticket per person is Tk 215 to Tk 489 depending on the class.

In Habiganj city, Hotel Jamil, Hotel Sonartari, Hotel Amad and other standard residential hotels have the opportunity to stay overnight for 400 to 2500 taka. And if you want to stay at the 5-star luxury resort of Bahubal upazila, you have to pay 7 to 20 thousand taka.
