Dhoronti Haor Brahmanbaria

The image of Sunamganj, Sylhet or Kishoreganj really comes to mind when we talk about Haor. But many people don't know much about Saurabh's fragrance in Brahmanbaria district. Dhoronti Haor (Dhoronti Haor) is also the name of a wetland that has a unique natural beauty. The scenic Dharanti Haor has many small and large canals, including the Titus River to the east and the Meghna River to the west.

Sarail-Nasirnagar road passes over Haor. From Baishakh to Ashwin months when the Haor Athai is full of water, the road is thronged by numerous visitors every day to enjoy the nature. Sarail Bishwar Road can be reached by bus plying on Brahmanbaria route from Syedabad or Jatrabari in Dhaka. There are autorickshaws and CNG to Dharanti from Sarail Bishwaroad.

Besides, you can come to Brahmanbaria by train and go to Sarail Bishwaroad by CNG.

If you want to go to Dhaka, you can visit Dharanti Haor during the night and come back. If necessary, one has to come to Brahmanbaria district headquarters to find a good quality hotel for overnight stay. Apart from this, night stay is also available at Dak Bungalow in Nasirnagar.
