Dc Park Chittagong

After assuming the charge of Chittagong District Commissioner in January 2023, Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman Fauzdar took the initiative to de-encroach a government land near Hat Chest Disease Hospital. A month later he plans to build a special garden here. This flower empire was created on the model of Dubai's Miracle Garden by spending about 50 lakh taka on the initiative of Chittagong District Commissioner. A flower fair is held every year in DC Park. Many visitors come from far and wide to see this fair.

In the first year, a 10-day flower festival was organized by planting 120 species of flower trees. About 50,000 visitors flocked to DC Park to witness this flower festival. The people of Chittagong were impressed by this exceptional and beautiful arrangement.

According to Chittagong district administration sources, it is the largest flower garden in Bangladesh in terms of size, type and number of flowers. More than 1 lakh flowering plants of 127 species have been planted in the garden.

There are different types of flowers here. There are dahlias, chrysanthemums, magnolias, shiuli, hasnahena, aparajita as well as cherry, gerbera, willow, wisteria. There are concumbari, hybrid joba, chilijba, hijal, krishnachura, bakul, palash, shimul, karbi, dhanlili, neel parul, neelkantha, rainlily, gandharaj, kathmallica, basanti, lilium, zinnia, inca mary gold, dahlia, kamini, belli, dolanchanpa. . There are also tulips. Tulips are mainly the flowers of cold countries. In many countries of the world, including the Netherlands, tulip gardens are a special attraction for tourists.

DC Park is open every day of the week from 9am to 6pm. The entrance fee for visitors to DC Park is kept at 30 rupees.

DC Park is located on Bandar Toll Road near Faujdar Hat Chest Hospital on Dhaka-Chittagong highway. You can go to DC Park located on Bandar Toll Road near Fauzdar Hat Chest Hospital from anywhere in Chittagong by bus or CNG.

The cost of food inside DC Park is relatively high so you can buy food from outside.
