Bhetarbandh Zamindar Bari

Bhetarbandh Zamindar Bari ( Bhetarbandh Zamindar Bari ) is located in Nageshwari Upazila, just 16 km from Kurigram Sadar. During the British rule, Rajshahi was the headquarters of the Inner Band Pargana. After the permanent settlement, the headquarters of this pargana was shifted to the village of Bhooraband in Nageshwari upazila. Almost half of the wood-built zamindar house has been lost to time, while the remaining half of the zamindar house is currently being operated as the office of the zamindar house.

Buses of SB, Nabil, Shyamoli, Hanif and Kurigram Transport ( 01924-469437 , 01914-856826 ) leave directly for Kurigram from Shyamli or Kalyanpur in the capital Dhaka. Ticket price for AC/Non-AC bus is Tk.950 to Tk.1400 per person. Again from Kamalapur railway station you can take Kurigram Express or Rangpur Express train directly from Dhaka to Kurigram. The ticket price of these trains is Tk 640-2197 depending on the class. From Kurigram, you can ride CNG or Easybike to Nageshwari upazila to get to the house of the Zamindar.
