Introduction to Aparajeyo Bangla Statue Dhaka

Aparajeyo Bangla (Aparajeyo Bangla) located in front of Kala Bhavan of Dhaka University is one of the best sculptures of Bangladesh built in the atmosphere of the great liberation war of 1971. A woman and two men freedom fighters have been presented in the light of unity, struggle and determination as a symbol of the participation of people from all walks of life in the country's freedom struggle in this historical structure.
The construction of Aparajeya Bangla Sculpture started in 1973 and was completed in 1979. Built on a 6 feet altar, this sculpture is 8 feet wide, 12 feet high and 6 feet in diameter. Sculptor Syed Abdullah Khalid built the invincible Bengal. However, no inscription bearing the name of the sculptor has been kept here.
Among the sculpture's three freedom fighters, the right-handed figure holding a rifle belt with conviction represents the larger population of the liberation war. In whose eyes the enthusiasm of the spirit of uncompromising independence has emerged. Whose model was freedom fighter Badrul Alam Benu, a student of art college at that time. And Syed Hamid Maqsood Fazle was the model of the three not three rifle standing idol and Hasina Ahmed was the model of the female idol. This invincible Bengal, the image of three freedom fighters, is spreading the spirit of liberation war among the students of DHA University by singing the song of equality by eliminating injustice and discrimination.
