Tin Bigha Corridor

Tin Bigha Corridor ( Tin Bigha Corridor ) is an independent land covering three bigha area owned by India. The location of the Tinbigha Corridor is on the border of Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat, Bangladesh and Meghliganj District of West Bengal, India. The Tinbigha Corridor was leased to Bangladesh in September 2011 to facilitate travel in the Dahgram-Angarpota enclave of Bangladesh.

Dahgram and Angarpota are the biggest enclaves of Bangladesh. The population of the total area of ​​18.61 square kilometers is about 17 thousand. The three-bigha corridor, surrounded by Indian territory, is about 200 meters from the border with Bangladesh. The 178 meter long and 85 meter wide corridor connects Bangladesh to Dahgram. Currently the Tinbigha Corridor is becoming a tourist hub. And while going to Dahgram using this corridor, one should be careful in going off road.

Patgram can be reached by direct bus from capital Dhaka, Rangpur and Lalmonirhat district headquarters. Tinbigha Corridor is located 9 km from Patgram Upazila Sadar. And Patgram can be reached by train from Rangpur and Lalmonirhat districts. 5 trains run daily on this route. You can go to Tinbigha Corridor anytime by rickshaw, autorickshaw from Patgram.

Besides, Lalmoni Express train departs from Kamalapur railway station at 09:45 pm on 6 days except Friday and Burimari Express train departs on 6 days except Tuesday at 08:30 am. Hanif and Shah Ali Paribahan buses leave for Lalmonirhat from Gabtali and Kalyanpur. From Lalmonirhat, you can reach Patgram by train or bus and take a rickshaw to the Tinbigha Corridor.

There is a standard residential hotel called Hotel Sadiq in Dahgram. Besides, if you want to stay elsewhere, you have to move to Patgram or Lalmonirhat.
