To go to Sairu you have to go to Bandarban first. From Bandaraban then go to Sairu. There are several ways to go to Bandarban.

Bus Dhaka to Bandarban route from Arambagh, Fakirapool, Abdullahpur and Syedabad in Dhaka. Alam, Saudia, Unique, Hanif, Shamli, St Martin Transport, Dolphin etc. buses leave for Bandarban. The AC and non-AC bus fares are Tk 800 to Tk 1800 per person. Or you can come from Dhaka to Chittagong and then from Chittagong BRTC terminal or Dampara bus stand to Bandarban by bus fare for Tk 100-300. You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong by private car for Tk 2500-3500.

Train: Tourist Express , Cox's Bazar Express , Sonar Bangla, Suvarna Express, Turna Nishita, Mahanagar Prabhati or Mahanagar Twilight trains can reach Chittagong from Dhaka . Train fare is 345 to 1179 taka depending on the class. Chittagong can go to Bandarban according to the above rules.

Aakash Path also operates direct flights from Dhaka to Chittagong with Bangladesh Biman, NovoAir, Air Astra and US Bangla. You can reach Chittagong by air and go to Bandarban by road as mentioned above.

How to get to Sairu from Bandarban: From Bandarban city you can go directly to Sairu Hill Resort by Jeep/Chander or CNG. Reserve jeep fare for this journey of 45 minutes to 1 hour is Tk 2000-2500 and CNG fare is Tk 800-1200.

Both staying and eating at Sairu Resort are a bit expensive. There are 4 types of 20 cottages to stay in Sairu. The price difference is due to the view and various facilities from the cottage. 10,000 to 17,000 rupees per day. There are 10-50% discounts on different occasions. Sairu has its own catering facilities. You can eat anything you like. There are all the special dishes of the tribals. If you want to taste the delicious taste of bamboo chicken, you can try it.

At present it is not possible to visit Sairu Resort without booking a room. But if you want you can go to Sairu Resort restaurant to eat. In that case, the order must be confirmed by contacting 1 hour before departure. And it should be noted that even if Sairu goes to eat at the restaurant, there is no opportunity to look around. You will not be allowed to enter other than the restaurant area.
