Rani Bhavanir was born in Chatiangram, Santahar, Bogra district . Rani Bhabani's Father House is on the verge of destruction due to lack of renovation and preservation. It is said that in the seventeenth century, the zamindar of Chatiangram, Ataram Chowdhury, was childless. Ataram Chowdhury prayed to God on the bank of a secluded pond near his house in the hope of having a child. Later, a daughter was born to his wife and she was named Bhavani. The place where the zamindar attains siddhi through sadhana comes to be known as Siddheshwari.
When Bhavani was 10 years old, Bhavani was proposed to the prince of Natore, Ramkanth. Bhavani agreed to the marriage on 3 conditions. Bhavani's condition was that she would stay in her father's house for one more year after marriage. And in that one year one pond should be dug every day in Chatiangram. A new road covered with red salu cloth should be constructed from Chatiangram to Nato. And the people of the area should be given land to make them self-reliant. The signs of fulfilling Bhavani's conditions are still present in Chatiangram.
After the death of Raja Ramkanth in 1748, Rani Bhavani took over the zamindari of Natore and managed it till 1802. It is said that Rani Bhavani was also invited to the conspiracy meeting against Nawab Siraj ud-Daula. But the queen opposed the English.
