Lokkhonchora Jhorna Sylhet

Lokkhonchora is a tourist spot located near Panthumai Jharna in Goainghat Upazila of Sylhet. If you have Panthumai Jharna on your travel list, you can easily visit Lakshanachara from Panthumai. If you want you can visit Bichnakandi , Panthumai Jharna and Lakshmanchara together in one day.

After passing through the village and crossing the Indian border, you will reach Lakshanachara after walking for 20 minutes. There are rocky streams formed by the fountains of India in a colorful pattern, much like the Vichnakandi. The trail passing under the Indian border crossing bridge is very beautiful. And this beauty of Lakshanachara becomes more incomparable in full monsoon.

Dhaka to Sylhet by Bus AC/Non-AC buses of Green Line, Saudia, S Alam, Shyamli and Ena Paribahan operate from Dhaka's Mohakhali, Gabtali, Fakirapool and Syedabad bus terminals to Sylhet. AC/Non-AC bus fares range from Tk 680 to Tk 1500.

Dhaka to Sylhet by train Antanagar Parabat, Jayantika, Kalni and Upaban Express trains leave for Sylhet from Kamalapur railway station in Dhaka daily at 6:30 am, 11:15 am, 2:55 pm and 10 pm respectively. It takes 7-8 hours to go to Sylhet by train from Dhaka. Train fare will be 375 to 1288 taka depending on the class.

Chittagong to Sylhet by train Sylhet Paharika Express leaves Chittagong for Sylhet every day except Monday at 7:50 AM and Udayan Express leaves Chittagong at 9:45 PM every day except Wednesday. Train fare will be 450 to 1541 taka depending on the class.

Sylhet to Lakshanashara Sylhet to Lakshanashara can go both ways. On one way, from Sylhet to Goainghat, you have to come to Hadarpar and fix the boat. While coming from Sylhet to Goainghat, you can have lunch from Goainghat market or take food as needed. Get CNG from Gwain Ghat to Hadarpar and arrange a boat together to visit Bichnakandi, Lakshanachara and Panthumai. Again from Ambarkhana in Sylhet you can come locally or with CNG reserve. To visit Bichnakandi, Lakshanachara and Panthumai, boat hire will cost from Tk 1100 to Tk 1500. It takes about 5/6 hours to return to Hadarpar after seeing the places.
