Lokkhon Shahar Jomidar Bari

Lokkhon Shahar Jomidar Bari (Lokkhon Shahar Jomidar Bari) is located near Danga Bazar in Palash Upazila of Narsingdi District , a short distance from the capital Dhaka . Zamindar Laxman Saha, the master builder of this house, was originally a sub-zamindar under the main zamindar. Laxman Saha's 3 sons are Perimohan Saha, Nikunj Saha and Banku Saha. Banku Saha migrated to India during partition and Nikunj Saha also migrated to India before 1971. Only Perimohan Saha stayed here. Perimohan Saha's only son Buddh Narayan Saha sold the house to a lawyer named Ahmed Ali. Because of this, Laxman Saha's zamindar house is better known as Ukil's house in this region. It is known that some of the descendants of Laxman Saha are currently living in Narayanganj city.
