Lauchapra Picnic Spot ( Lauchapra Picnic Spot ) is located in Bakshiganj Upazila of Jamalpur District, Bangladesh bordering India. Lauchapara's hills, forests, lakes and the distinctive lifestyle of the tribals, which are adorned with magnificent natural beauty, attract domestic and foreign tourists. For the convenience of tourists, Jamalpur Zilla Parishad constructed 'Nika' picnic spot on Garo Hills in 1996 covering 26 acres of land. The picnic spot has a watch tower about 150 feet high on top of a 60 feet high hill. From the top of this watch tower, one can enjoy rows of green hills, cloud hide and seek and beautiful scenery. And Lauchapara picnic spot has several rides for children with swings, sleepers and car parking. To enter the park, you have to pay ten rupees to collect the ticket.

Lauchapara picnic spot is located in Jamalpur district but if you want to travel from Dhaka, it is most convenient to go through Sherpur district. From Dhaka take Dreamland Paribahan or bus at your convenience to Sherpur and from there take another bus to Bakshiganj. Lauchapara picnic spot can be easily reached by rickshaw or van from Bakshiganj.

Overnight stay can be done at Paharika Bungalows of Jamalpur Zilla Parishad and privately owned Banful Resort.
