Rural poet Jasimuddin's home in Gobindpur village in Sadar upazila of Faridpur district. There are 4 old tin houses in Kabir's house next to the river Kumar. There are various things used by him in different rooms of the house. Various writings of the poet are displayed in the premises of the house. There is a large area in front of the river with seating for visiting visitors. Kabir's graveyard by the road to the north of the house. Pallikbi Jasimuddin has been resting under the pomegranate tree since March 14, 1976. Lying around the poet are his father, mother, wife of the poet, eldest son, eldest son's wife along with his brothers, sisters, nieces and grand-daughters.
The poet was born in 1903 in Nana Bari Tambulkhana village of Sadar Upazila. Despite being educated in colonial education, he took the beauty of the rural nature of Bengal, the life of simple people as the source of his poetic literature. The rural areas of Bengal are spread over a large population, whose main livelihood is agriculture, among them Pallikbi emerges. Most of Jasimuddin's childhood, adolescence and youth were spent in this village, in the fields and ghats, on the banks of the river, among the ordinary people. Due to his close relationship with the countryside by birth, rural nature and life are reflected in his poetry.
