Hinda Kasba Shahi Mosque

Hinda-Kasba Shahi Mosque located in Joypurhat district of Rajshahi division is one of the examples of Islamic architecture in Bangladesh. The mosque is located in Hinda village of Kshetlal, just 15 km from the district town of Jaipurhat. The walls of the mosque are decorated with glass, porcelain and mosaics in imitation of Mughal architecture, which makes the mosque more attractive to the visiting visitors. Hazrat Abdul Ghafoor Chishti (RA) popularly known as Bagmari Pir was Chirkumar. He has built various religious institutions in Joypurhat district. Hinda-Kasba Shahi Jame Masjid was built in Bengal in 1365 under the supervision of Khalifa Abdul Khaleq Chishti, designed by Hazrat Abdul Gafur Chishti (RA).

The length of the hall of Hinda-Kasba Shahi Jame Masjid is 49.50 feet and width is 22.50 feet. The mosque has 5 domes modeled after the 5 pillars of Islam. And on the north side of the mosque there is a 40 feet high minaret. Besides, there are shrines of 4 Sufi saints next to Hinda-Kasba Shahi Jame Mosque.

If you want to go to Hinda-Kasba Shahi Jame Masjid, you have to come to Joypurhat first. Bus services from Gabtali, Mohakhali, Abdullahpur, Shyamoli and Kalyanpur including Shah Fateh Ali Paribahan, St. Martin Travels, Shyamoli Paribahan NR, SR Travel and Hanif ply from Dhaka to Joypurhat. AC, non-AC buses fare from Tk 550 to Tk 1400. Besides, you can go to Joypurhat by Nilsagar Express, Ekta Express, Hrityan Express, Kurigram Express, and Panchagarh Express trains from Dhaka's Kamalapur or Airport Railway Station. In this case, the ticket price per person is Tk 465 for decorative chair, Tk 892 for Snigdha, Tk 1,070 for AC seat and Tk 1599 for AC berth.

After reaching Joypurhat bus terminal from Dhaka , you can take another bus for a fare of 15 taka and come to Itakhola in Kshetlal.
