After the entrance to Nuhash village, the beautiful green forest can be seen on the left hand side. Humayun Ahmed, the magician of the story, is lying in the litchi garden on the left side of this desert. As soon as you proceed along the entrance of Nuhash Palli, you will see the sculpture called 'Mother and Child' by local architect Asaduzzaman Khan. Sculptures in the form of ghosts and frogs have been installed to entertain children. A curved swimming pool has been built next to it. Humayun Ahmed swam in this swimming pool with famous Indian writer Sunil Gangopadhyay.
Moving forward past the swimming pool, one can see Humayun Ahmed's cottage, chess room and prayer place. Next is the 'Bristibilas' cottage with its huge tinshed verandah. Humayun Ahmed used to watch rain and full moon sitting on the balcony of this cottage. Just opposite is his famous tree house. Nuhash village has a medicinal plant garden, also with about 300 different species of plants.
Behind the herb garden is a shooting spot made of tin and clay. And at the front of the garden there are statues of fish maidens and demons. Next to it is a statue of a dinosaur made of concrete. To the north of Nuhash Palli is Lilavati Dighi. An artificial island has been constructed in the middle of this lake which is connected by a wooden bridge. Next to Lilavati Dighi there is another building called 'Bhutavilas'. Also spending a day in the well-arranged Nuhash Palli will instantly make you feel the presence of poets in all the Nuhash Pallis.
