Chandra Mahal Eco Park (Chandra Mahal Eco Park) is an eco park and picnic spot located in Ranjitpur village next to Khulna-Mongla highway of Bagerhat district headquarters. Eco Park has a Taj Mahal-style building called Chandra Mahal. In 2002, Salim Huda built this eco park covering an area of about 30 acres and named it Chandramahal after his wife Nasima Huda Chandra. Visitors to Chandramahal Eco Park are mesmerized by the beauty of Chandramahal. Sunlight reflected in the golden color of the building creates a strange atmosphere. Chandramahal is surrounded by water from all sides so to go to the main building one has to go through the tunnel made under the water.
Chandramahal houses various archeological monuments for the entertainment of the visitors. Various artefacts including domestic and foreign coins, postage stamps, war weapons, ancient clocks, ornaments, religious artifacts, stone furniture, rare manuscripts, various pottery artefacts, etc. are housed in the Chandramahal Eco Park.
Various sculptures, bamboo houses, pansi boats, replica of Razakar's gallows, artificial railway lines, restaurants and picnic spots have been constructed in Chandramahal Eco Park for visiting visitors. All arrangements are made here for the convenience of organizing a picnic.
